The AET Audio Engineering Course was established in 1998 as a means to help aspiring engineers and assistants applying to JAMBOX Recording Studios for employment to raise their level of expertise in the audio field.
Over the years, AET has blossomed into one of NYC's top audio engineering courses, sharpening the technical skills of hundreds of upcoming Artists, DJ’s, Producers, Musicians and Engineers. Many of our students have gone on to start their own successful music careers & studios. |

AET and JAMBOX Entertainment are now proud to announce our collaboration with Waves Audio to offer the Waves Certification program. We feel this program will reinforce the student’s knowledge of Audio Engineering Fundamentals, as well as give students the opportunity to learn in detail, the most comprehensive software plug-ins package available today.
As you may know these Waves plug-ins have become an industry standard and are used on the vast majority of major record releases today. |

Is a training program with textbook that provides a high-quality, standardized means of mastering Waves plug-ins.
- Overview – details the fundamentals of working with Waves processors
- Renaissance EQ
- Renaissance Compressor
- C1 Parametric Compander
- Renaissance Reverb
- SuperTap 2-Tap Delay
- Includes demo material that explains what each processor’s controls do.
- Includes full versions of the five plug-ins taught. These are not time or function limited, and they are upgradeable to any of Waves’ larger bundles. There is also an extremely low cost path to the Level B Waves Certification Program, which covers and includes the entire Gold Bundle.
- Includes the Waves Certification Level A Exam. Upon passing, the student is sent a framing-quality certificate directly from Waves.
