Q: Why choose AET over other engineering courses or schools?
A: The proliferation of audio engineeringschools have been quite large over the last decade or so. Some of them great, some not so great. Here ae a few key things that set AET apart from the pack!

1. AET offers more bang for your buck because we are also a NYC midtown recording studio. We teach from experience and being "in the trenches" everyday,

2. We hold all classes right in one of our studios, so you actually see, hear, and experience whats going on from beginnng to end.

3. Group and commencement classes are taught by industry vet Lee Evans with over 30 yrs in the business

4
. AET is the only comprehensive audio course that doesn't require a large investment in your time and money. The cost is equal to the average cost of a good piece of gear. That gear will soon get outdated, but the knowledge that you gain @ AET will last forever.

5.
Our ongoing family-like support is second to none.

6. We're not beginners...we have almost 10 incredible years of service.

Q.What if I'm a total beginner with no experience in music or recording? Can I still take the course?
A. Absolutely! Although most of our applicants at the AET School have some form of musical background, we also work delicately with beginners.
Beginners always seem to do great in this course

Q. I've got experience from my own small home system...why go to school?
A. Many of our students have equipment at home...and this is a real plus! Courses at AET are very intense with lots of hands-on! We'll give you extensive experience in a larger format 48 Track Professional Digital Studio, with the opportunity to familiarize yourself with a vast array of audio equipment, computers and software you may not own.

Q: How many students are there in the class?
A: Our classes are very small. We try to keep it at 5 to 6 people max..,so every students get a lot of attention. We also provide private courses one on one, so you will get divided attention and hands on training.

Q: Are there good employment opportunities in the professional audio industry?
A: Some, but steady employment in this industry is hard to come by. The music industry is in a state of flux right now. However, if you're looking for employment, you'll need a strong course like AET to hone your skills so you can take advantage of any opportunities that come your way

Q: What are the requirements for admission to the AET program?
A: A great attitude and willingness to learn helps
